THE CAIRN

We are your centralized resource for your veterinary interests, education, and personal development. How we take care of ourselves, each other, patients and pet parents, and how we grow as members of this community - this is what we hope our podcast provides! The Cairn Podcast is a space that seeks truth without judgment.  It is a forum for generating new ideas, while providing evidence-based principles with which to carry forward into every-day life, inside the veterinary exam room, at the lecture podium, during the staff meeting, and beyond.

The Cairn is an ancient visual route marker, a directional sign, that has stood along routes to inform the traveler that they were heading in the right direction. They are a reminder to the hiker that they are making good progress. If you’ve ever been lost on the trail, there’s nothing like finding a guide post letting you know that you’re on the right track, that others have passed this way, and the road is clear.  We look forward to traveling with you!
